Branding for ‘Day 1’ - a design conference that discusses the parallels and main differences in design, focusing on Swiss design to present day, and celebrates the future of digital design.
The branding is comprised of a selection of shapes that can be used across digital and analogue platforms, and present the event colours. In addition to this, a logo was created for the event that can be used isolated or alongside the event shapes. An invitation/save the date was produced, as well as marketing materials including OOH advertising.
Layout of materials were informed by Swiss design principles such as the Rule of Thirds as a way to tie back to the theme of the event, with the shapes inspired by forms often featured in Swiss design. Contrastingly, the branding utilises vibrant colours and a more digital-like design for the logo, to demonstrate how the event talks about digital design as a main focus.
