'All For One' Festival

Event creation, brand creation and digital/print marketing material production.
'All For One' was created in response to a brief that was made up of three words; "family", "festival" and "inclusiveness". This individual brief was given to me as part of a module at university that saw my course being mentored by two designers from Glasgow-based creative agency Front Page.
As opposed to creating festival that was branded as an inclusiveness festival, I decided that basing the festival on something that everyone has in common regardless or their background or any other differentiating factor would be more effective at attracting people to the festival, and so I went based the festival on food.
'All For One' is a food-based, community-centred festival. It is an annual, 1-day event that takes place in towns and villages. 'All For One' celebrates the different food outlets and providers from the area in which it is being held, via food stalls that sell produce, cooked foods and other food-related goodies, as well as celebrating the community/town in general, paying particular attention to the townsfolk and encouraging a sense of community amongst them.
Local chefs provide cooking demonstrations that festival attendees can watch or take part in, they can sample the foods from the stalls, and to conclude the festival, all at the festival are welcome to join in a communal meal where they sit down together at a large table to enjoy a meal together, engage in meaningful conversation, and take a moment to be together and take an interest in one another's lives. The aim is that through appreciating the foods that their community has to offer, as well as spending time with their fellow townsfolk, festival attendees feel more included within their community.
